Raven Falls Party
Original Acrylic Painting by Jennifer McCombs
Light in the Darkness Collection
The Story
Raven Falls Party was inspired by a winter walk across the Glacier Creek bridge in Girdwood, Alaska.
It was a cold, snowy day when I noticed a group of ravens splashing, playing, and gathering in the icy creek below. Despite the freezing temperatures, they seemed to be having the best time!
I loved watching their playful energy against the quiet winter landscape. It was one of those unexpected moments in nature that makes you stop, smile, and appreciate the world around you.
Created as part of my Light in the Darkness collection, this painting celebrates the joy, playfulness, and connection that can be found even during the coldest, darkest days of winter.
A reminder that there's always room for a little fun, no matter the season.
