Home Beneath the Aurora
Original acrylic painting by Jennifer McCombs
2026 | Acrylic on canvas | 48 × 36 inches
Home Beneath the Aurora is inspired by life in Girdwood at the base of Mt. Alyeska—a place where family, creativity and work have taken root. The warm light shining from the house represents the life built within it, while the surrounding mountains and northern lights hold the quiet wonder of an Alaska night.
The dog beneath the aurora was inspired by Luna, a beloved companion who often joined me outside during late-night walks beneath the sky. Her presence in the painting honors those peaceful moments and the feeling that the ones we love remain part of the places we call home.
This one-of-a-kind original is signed by the artist and includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
Local pickup in Girdwood is available by arrangement. Delivery to Anchorage is available for $100.
Shipping can be arranged. Please contact us before purchasing for a shipping quote based on the destination, carrier and required artwork packaging.
