Alpenglow Moon
Original acrylic painting by Jennifer McCombs
2026 | Acrylic on canvas | 48 × 36 inches
Alpenglow Moon is inspired by the cliffs above the Seward Highway along Turnagain Arm, where Dall sheep can often be seen navigating the steep terrain. In this painting, a mother stands with her young as April’s full moon rises into the lingering light of an alpenglow sunset.
I wanted to capture a family together in a challenging place—steady, watchful and pausing beneath a sky filled with wonder.
This one-of-a-kind original is signed by the artist and includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
Local pickup in Girdwood is available by arrangement. Delivery to Anchorage is available for $100.
